First Impression Website Review

Free Offer

What does your website say about your business to someone who has never seen it before?

Your website might make perfect sense to you. You know your business inside and out. You know what you offer, who you work with and what makes you different.

But what does a potential customer see when they land on your homepage for the first time?

I’ll spend five minutes looking at your website through the eyes of a potential customer and record my first impressions in a short video.

I’ll ask three simple questions:

  1. What do you do? Can I quickly understand what your business offers?
  2. Who is it for? Can I tell who you’re trying to reach—and can that person recognize that they’re in the right place?
  3. What do I do next? Is there a clear, obvious next step for someone who wants to work with you or buy from you?

I’ll primarily review your homepage, looking at the things a first-time visitor is likely to notice, understand or struggle with.

You’ll receive a short, honest video highlighting what’s working and where you might be able to make things clearer.

And it’s completely free.

Why first impressions matter

You don’t get long to help a new visitor decide whether they’ve landed in the right place. They might have found you through Google, Instagram, a recommendation, a directory or a link from somewhere else. However they arrived, your website needs to quickly help them orient themselves.

A beautiful website can still leave someone wondering what you actually do. A clever headline can still be unclear to someone who doesn’t know your industry. And a website can have plenty of visitors without giving those visitors a clear reason to take the next step.

Often, you don’t need a complete website redesign. You just need someone who isn’t inside your business to look at it and say: “Here’s what I see.”

Who is this for?

The First Impression Review is particularly useful if you’re an independent or creative business owner who:

  • Has a website but isn’t sure it’s doing its job
  • Has recently redesigned or updated their website
  • Is getting website visitors but not enough enquiries
  • Isn’t sure whether their messaging is clear
  • Has changed their services or target audience
  • Feels too close to their own website to see what’s wrong
  • Simply wants a fresh pair of eyes

What this isn’t

This isn’t a comprehensive website audit.

I won’t be checking every technical SEO issue, analysing your entire Google Search Console account or giving you a 30-page report.

Instead, I’m giving you something much simpler: five minutes of fresh eyes.

Sometimes that’s enough to spot the thing you’ve been looking at every day without seeing.
